ugh University of Portland is so freaking cool
Not only am I probably going to get to spend 2 days getting to know other freshmen and doing service projects in Portland before orientation
But I get to spend 4 years at a university with an entire office/program dedicated to service, leadership, and justice
Like, I could be a summer Intern for Justice anywhere in the country
Or I could go to the Mexican border on spring break to learn about social justice issues and do service projects
And oh yeah every single dorm has a Social Justice Coordinator that plans a service project each month
This whole college thing is so dang spiritual for me and people just don’t understand
Does anyone want to claim that I was not the cutest kid ever?
Got my finalized 1st semester schedule for next year.
Anatomy, anatomy lab, nursing workshop, intro to philosophy, intro to sociology, intro to religion and theology, and statistics.
This is surreal.
Some nights, I stay up cashing in my bad luck
Some nights, I call it a draw
Some nights, I wish that my lips could build a castle
